Senior Pastor Christopher E. Harris
Christopher E. Harris, Ed.D. is the 12th Senior Pastor of Flint Hill Baptist of Rock Hill. A Pastor to pastors, Dr. Harris is a true visionary who was an award recipient of the Who’s Who in Young Americans, has been described as a leader among leaders. The importance of obtaining as much education as possible has always been the ministry mantle placed on his life. He is a professional and effective leader with proven ability to enhance the Kingdom of God to reach more souls. He has extensive experience in leading church numerical growth and the powerful ability to lead ministry expansion of the local church.
A native of Washington, D.C., Dr. Harris was born to the late Andrew Harris and the late Margaret L. Johnson. After graduating from the prestigious Howard D. Woodson Senior High School of Washington, DC in 1983, he continued the pursuit of education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (North Carolina A&T) on a football scholarship. After accepting the call to gospel ministry in 1986, he began pursuing education for ministry through various sources until he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies (1998) from Charlotte Bible College (formerly known as New Life University) and he further earned a Master of Arts in Divinity (1999) simultaneously matriculating through both programs. Continuing the pursuit of education, Dr. Harris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2014 and he completed a Doctor of Education Degree in Christian Leadership from the Liberty University (2020).
Dr. Harris was licensed to the gospel ministry (1986) by the First United Missionary Baptist Church of High Point, NC and Ordained by the Mount Peace Missionary Baptist Association (1990) at the request of Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Charlotte, NC. He began pastoral ministry in 1991 and has served several churches including:

He has been married since 1989 to the former Jade Osborne and they are parents to three children Justin, Caitlin and Cristin. Dr. and Mrs. Harris are grandparents to Jacob Eugene Morgan-Harris, Jhene Michelle Harris, Faith Jenesis Turner.
